McRae feared dead after chopper crash
Eurosport - Sun, 16 Sep 10:53:00 2007

Former World Rally champion Colin McRae is feared dead after a his helicopter crashed near his home in Scotland, killing its pilot and all three passengers.

Crash investigators have now begun examining the wreckage of the Squirrel helicpoter, which came down on McRae's Jerviswood Estate near Lanark, following a statement by Strathclyde police in which they said they believed the 39-year-old Scot was on-board.

Police also said that they hope to be able to identify the four victims later on today.

"We are hoping to be in a position to confirm the identities of those involved later today," a spokesman said.

Police cordoned off the area, including a private road up to the McRae family house, which is set in several acres of ground.

Strathclyde Police initially said that the damage was so bad from the accident that they didn't know how many people were on board.

But it emerged that the force had been in contact with the McRae family in connection with the crash.

A statement released by the force late overnight stated: "We can now confirm that four people were on board the helicopter which crashed in a wooded area, in Jerviswood."

It added: "The bodies were found within the helicopter, which is owned by Mr Colin McRae of Jerviswood House, Lanark.

"It is believed he was on board the helicopter however until formal identification has taken place, we will not be able to confirm the identities of those onboard."

McRae became the first British driver to win the world rally championship in 1995 and, aged 27 at the time, remains the youngest man to do so.

What's that song!?

In 1994 I went to a movie called "The Cable Guy" starring Jim Carrey. Alltogether there were 4 people, including me and my friend. The movie should've started at 2 in the afternoon, but it begun 45 minutes later. Some painter on a big iron scaffolding was painting the ceiling and left the big scaffolding right in front of the moviescreen. So all in all you can call this a weird movie-going-expierence. But, and I guess I am one of the few, I think The Cable Guy was a great movie. Besides that it had some really cool music in it as well. At a certain point Jim Carrey and Matthew Broderick (also known from the movie "Wargames") are dressed up as knights to battle each other. In that scene there's some really awsome music.
For years I have been looking for the title and the artist of the song that's played during that scene. Because there was no internet back then, and I don't buy soundtracks with no score, it was a long road to the answer.

Recently the (awsome!) trailer for the upcoming movie "Iron Man" was released and you guessed it. It contains the very same song! So I found out through the internet which song this is, and finally I found it. And yes, I am so generous to share it with you guys... enjoy:

LOST on an island, far from home...

Hello to you all! Today I came back from a fantastic holiday in Greece. Great country, great people, great weather. I found a new signed LOST-photo on my doormat, which is from Kimberly Joseph (also known from the British show "Cold Feet"). I've sent this photo more then 1,5 year ago to her adress in Australia, that's where she comes from. But it appeared she is moved to the states now, because the envelope had an USA-adress on it. It took a long long time to come back, but I am very happy with this one, because I also loved her in Cold Feet. She added a signed photo of her own as well. :-)
